Located in the heart of Mumbai, India, the American School of Bombay is a coeducational, independent, IB day school from Pre-K to Grade 12.
The purpose of the ASB Handbook is to give students and their parents/guardians an understanding of the general rules, policies and guidelines for attending and receiving an education in our school, provide links to important board policies, and to provide information about and links to our learning management and communications platforms.
If your family has students enrolled in the 2021-22 school year, you are required to sign a handbook agreement which can be found on our Veracross Parent Portal.

ASB is committed to providing a safe environment for its students. All members of the community will ensure the safety and well-being of every student.
Child abuse is a violation of a child’s human rights and is an obstacle to a child’s education and/or their physical, emotional, and spiritual development. ASB endorses the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, of which our host country, India, is a signatory.
The School relies on preventative practices to reduce risk, ensure child protection, and respond effectively to situations that are harmful to our students and our school community.
