ASB School Stories

Located in the heart of Mumbai, India, the American School of Bombay is a coeducational, independent, IB day school from Pre-K to Grade 12.

ASB offers a college-preparatory program leading to an American High School Diploma and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Because students from almost fifty nations attend the American School of Bombay, our curriculum and activities have been designed to meet the needs of our international student body.  Our High School Profile, including IB results and colleges our students attend, can be found here

Our Grade 9 and 10 students undergo studies that are designed to prepare them for their last two years of High School. All courses are designed to provide students with not only the foundation of knowledge and understanding in a specific discipline, but also solid communication and analytical skills.

Students in Grade 10 complete a Research Project that is specifically designed to give them the research and writing skills they will need to begin the extended essay process as part of the IB program.
